Terms of Use

Terms for the Linea Prompt beta.

These terms cover the website, beta access flow, release downloads, update feed, and native macOS beta app.

Last updated May 23, 2026

Short version

  • Linea Prompt is a beta macOS app. It is free during beta, and founder terms will be communicated before Linea Prompt 1.0.
  • The app is licensed for your use, not sold. You keep ownership of your prompts, Blueprints, Variables, Context, and other content.
  • You are responsible for what you inject, paste, share, or export, especially when using third-party AI apps and work systems.
  • The beta may change, break, or be paused while the product is being prepared for 1.0.

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to lineaprompt.com, the Linea Prompt beta access flow, release downloads, update feed, and the Linea Prompt macOS app. By using the website or app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you use Linea Prompt for a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to use it for that organization and to bind that organization to these Terms where applicable.

Beta status

Linea Prompt is in beta. Beta builds, access links, release downloads, update feeds, features, storage formats, and availability may change while we prepare Linea Prompt 1.0.

The beta is free during beta. No credit card is required for beta registration. Founder terms before Linea Prompt 1.0 are not a promise of a specific price, duration, feature set, or launch date.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the website or app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Linea Prompt only with permission from a parent or guardian.

You may not use Linea Prompt if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

License

Subject to these Terms, Akgunay Labs grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the Linea Prompt beta for personal or internal business prompt workflow.

Linea Prompt is licensed, not sold. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, host, or make the app available to others except as expressly allowed by Akgunay Labs or by applicable law.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass technical restrictions, interfere with update or access systems, or use the app to build a competing product, except where applicable law allows despite this restriction.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, Blueprints, Variables, Context, files, prompt versions, and Injection History you create or import into Linea Prompt.

You are responsible for your content, including making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to use, store, inject, share, or export it. Do not use Linea Prompt to process content that violates law, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, or intellectual property rights.

Because app data is stored locally and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account, Akgunay Labs does not need a broad license to your app content. If you send content to us for support or feedback, you grant us permission to use that submitted material only to respond, troubleshoot, improve Linea Prompt, and protect the service.

Inject, clipboard, and third-party apps

Linea Prompt prepares prompts and can place them on your clipboard or inject them into the frontmost app. You should review the rendered prompt before relying on it, especially when it includes confidential information, file context, or variables.

When you paste or inject a prompt into another app, website, AI provider, or workplace system, that destination's terms, privacy policy, data controls, and retention rules apply. Linea Prompt does not control third-party apps or AI-provider outputs.

Some apps and secure-input surfaces may block synthetic paste. In those cases Linea Prompt may leave the rendered prompt on your clipboard so you can paste manually.

Permissions and local system features

The global hotkey and Inject workflow depend on macOS Accessibility permission. iCloud sync depends on your Apple account and CloudKit availability. Updates depend on network access to the Linea Prompt update feed.

If you revoke permissions, disable iCloud, block network access, or use a secure-input target, some features may not work.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attack, overload, scrape, or bypass the website, beta signup, access links, download routes, update feed, or security checks.
  • Do not share beta access tokens publicly or use automated methods to generate signups, access events, or download events.
  • Do not use Linea Prompt to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, harass others, exfiltrate data, or bypass security controls.
  • Do not misrepresent your relationship with Linea Prompt or Akgunay Labs.
  • Do not remove copyright, trademark, or license notices from the app or website.

Feedback

If you send feedback, ideas, bug reports, product suggestions, or similar material, you allow Akgunay Labs to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not send feedback that you cannot authorize us to use.

Communications

By joining the beta, you agree that we may email you about beta access, release notes, support, security, policy updates, and founder terms before Linea Prompt 1.0. You may opt out of non-essential updates, but we may still send transactional or security messages.

Updates and changes

Linea Prompt may check for updates and offer new builds. We may modify, pause, or discontinue beta access, downloads, update feeds, or features at any time.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Future paid version

Linea Prompt is free during beta. We expect Linea Prompt to become a paid Mac app at or before 1.0. Any future paid plan, license, subscription, refund, renewal, or purchase terms will be provided before payment is required.

Nothing in these Terms creates a guarantee that every beta feature will remain free, remain available, or ship in Linea Prompt 1.0.

Ownership

Akgunay Labs owns Linea Prompt, lineaprompt.com, the app design, software, website, documentation, marks, and related intellectual property, except for your content and third-party materials.

You may not use Linea Prompt branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without written permission.

Third-party services

The website and app rely on third-party services and platforms, including hosting, backend, email delivery, bot protection, analytics, Apple services, update infrastructure, and any destination apps you choose to use with Linea Prompt.

Those third parties are not controlled by Akgunay Labs. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

Linea Prompt is provided as is and as available during beta. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, compatible with every app, or suitable for every workflow.

Linea Prompt is a prompt workflow tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, security, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing prompts and any AI outputs before using them.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Akgunay Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from use of the website or app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Linea Prompt at any time. We may suspend or revoke beta access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the product or other users, or abused the beta access or release systems.

Disputes and contact

If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@lineaprompt.com.
